The last quarter of 2020 is dawning. A year marked by the corona crisis. We all carry different experiences with us as a result. Add to that developments in technology and automation that have gained momentum. All this makes the quality of our physical encounters more important<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

This evening Linda Commandeur will focus on the role of our connection skills. Skills with which we as humans distinguish ourselves from technology and with which we can exert a positive influence in contact with others. How do you stay connected to each other? What is still natural and what is no longer? <\/strong> This interactive session will cover the following issues:<\/p>\n

Strengthening verbal and nonverbal skills<\/strong>: practicing questioning and report making. This reinforcement serves as a valuable refresher in returning to our work, our team and the organization. <\/p>\n

Adjust expectations and encourage small happiness<\/strong>: recent times may have caused various emotions such as anxiety, sadness, uncertainty and frustration. There has been a huge demand on our flexibility. This puts us in a different flow from which it is sometimes difficult to get out. By practicing paying attention to small happiness and cheerfulness, we can become more balanced with our emotions and more open to connecting with others. <\/p>\n

Self-evidence<\/strong>: what differences in what we took for granted have arisen in recent months and what do we learn from this? In a dialogue with each other we are going to become aware of this. <\/p>\n

Delay<\/strong>: what role has time played in recent months and what has it brought or cost us. In a dialogue with each other we will interpret this. <\/p>\n

For the past 20 years, Linda has worked as a trade marketer for major brands in the food industry. In addition to her work as an interim professional, Linda is trained as an NLP & Communication Master and certified in Deep Democracy. With her company Commandeur Advies she provides training to help executives connect more with the organization, the team and themselves. Through her many travels she has learned a lot about connecting, even when it can only be non-verbal due to a language barrier, and draws parallels with business. Furthermore, Linda is a TEDx speaker and recently wrote the book Connection Skills<\/a>. \u201cThese books helps to increase your connection power. This results in better relationships at home, at work, more trust, less noise in communication and more time to build, to grow, to enjoy.\u201d <\/p>\n
