The product lines consist of natural self-care products (phyto-therapy), natural food supplements and specialized skin care. History
In 1982, Santesa decided to market self-care products. This was in response to changing regulations on medications. The government’s attitude toward self-medication became more flexible. To guarantee professional service and knowledge to customers, specialists in therapeutic subfields were hired.
In 2004, Santesa acquired the operations of Indros. With this, Santesa expanded its self-care assortment. Among others, the phytotherapeutic brand Vitotaalยฎ comes from Indros.
In 2008, Dr. van der Hoog’s skin care line was added to the range, known for “Dr. van der Hoog’s masks.
