WerfSelect takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you in a secure manner. In this Privacy Statement we explain which data we process and for what purpose. who we are…
WerfSelect B.V. is located in Amersfoort, Daam Fockemalaan 22, postal code 3818KG and responsible for data processing.

technical information and cookies…
In general, our website can be visited without your personal data being transmitted to us. However, like many other websites, this website automatically collects certain information about its users, such as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. The IP address is completely anonymized by us and can never be traced back to a natural person. The IP address of your Internet Service Provider, date and time of access to the Web site, the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our Web site, the operating system you use, the parts of the Web site you visit, the pages of the Web site you visited and the information you viewed, information about the type of device you use to visit the site, the geo location where you are located, and the material you send or download from the Web site. We collect your personal data from the moment you enter or leave your details on our website, register or otherwise apply or are registered to use our services.

We may also collect information from you if you have posted on public resources that might indicate an interest in work-related services. In that case, we will approach you to see if you are interested in enrolling with us in accordance with our terms and conditions and subject to this Privacy Statement.

why we collect personal data…
We collect and process your data for the performance of our services, including mediation, secondment, contracting ZZP and recruitment & selection.

what data do we collect…
When registering:
– NAW data, e-mail address and other contact data
– birth data, age, gender
– curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, internships and work experience
– data about training and education and/or tests you have followed or done yourself or through us

– data about availability and leave
– other data that are (or may be) important in the context of assessing the
suitability of the candidate, e.g. references and testimonials
– passport photo and video (introduction) – on a voluntary basis

At the moment that you can start working via WerfSelect:
– nationality, BSN number, ID proof, work permit
– other data related to the personnel, salary and absence registration
– in addition, we sometimes process data on behalf of our clients in the
framework of a pre-employment screening.
– If you can start working via WerfSelect, the above-mentioned data are only processed if relevant and required. We also process company data in
the case of ZZP’ers.

how we use your data…
Below you will find an overview of the purposes for which WerfSelect processes personal data about you. In each case it is indicated which data WerfSelect uses for that specific purpose, what the legal basis is for processing these data and how long the data are kept by WerfSelect. To keep it clear, we have grouped everything by type of data flow:

With whom we may share your personal data…
WerfSelect may share your personal data with its clients, subcontractors (e.g. data processors) who provide services or execute assignments on its behalf, suppliers, government agencies and other business relations. And in all other cases in which we may be required to do so, for example, by a court order or court judgment.

how long do we keep your personal data…
The retention periods we use depend on applicable legal retention periods.

Your personal data (e.g. name and address, CV, work experience, education, test results, etc.) are available until two years after the last contact if you have not worked for WerfSelect. You will receive a message from us after one year as well as two years after you have not been in contact with us. If you no longer wish to use our services, you can unsubscribe. You can indicate this to your contact person. You will no longer be approached and/or mediated by WerfSelect
If you have worked through WerfSelect, your personal data are available until two years after the end of your employment. After these two years you will receive a message from WerfSelect that you are registered with us. If you no longer wish to use our services, you can unsubscribe. You will no longer be approached and/or mediated by WerfSelect.

personal data of business relations…
We collect contact data from employees of clients, suppliers, vendors, referrers and any other entity with whom we have a business relationship. WerfSelect may pass on personal data obtained from its business relations if this is necessary to achieve the objectives of the business relationship or for the purpose of mediation. This data may be passed on to job applicants or candidates, business partners and subcontractors (e.g. data processors) providing services on its behalf, and in all other cases in which WerfSelect may be obliged to do so, for example by a court order or court judgment.

your rights…
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights regarding your data and its processing:

perusal
If you would like to see the personal data recorded about you at WerfSelect, you may make a request for perusal. A request can be sent to info@werfselect.nl. WerfSelect will comply with your request as soon as possible and in any case no later than one (1) month after WerfSelect has received such a request. If WerfSelect rejects your request, we will indicate in our reply why the request is rejected.

change
If you want to make changes to the personal data you have seen as a result of a review request, you can make a request to WerfSelect. You can request that WerfSelect changes, corrects, completes, deletes or screens your data.

withdraw consent
Whenever the basis for a particular data processing operation is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but does mean that we may no longer process that data. As a result, WerfSelect may no longer be able to provide you with certain services.
