As WerfSelect, we stand for connecting inspired people and brands. We like to work with organizations and people who have a positive impact on people and society. And in this period where we were all facing a new situation, we were looking for a session to match. We all needed to find a new balance, to relate again to a strongly changing environment and held a knowledge session about behavior and giving meaning.

Knowledge sessions on behavior and making meaning
We ended up with Norbert Koopen, a former client of ours, who made a switch from senior marketing management to coaching several years ago. He specializes in unraveling behavior at the individual and team level, and he came up with a two-session format in which up to 15 people could participate.

Sessions to match this particular time
The first session was about behavior. How does behavior arise and how do you learn new behavior? And how can you use that in a changing environment as a professional and leader both in your private and working life? The other topic was about giving meaning in your life and work. How do you find and do that? And what do you encounter? And how can you use that in your work? Great questions in a time that automatically makes you think about this. The need turned out to be great because the sessions sold out quickly and we planned an extra session.

From sending to interactive, from handles to experienced
The first session on behavior was received with great enthusiasm. The feedback was good, but participants expressed a desire for even more interaction. Thus, the next two sessions were converted from more of a lecture with tools to an interactive workshop focused on feeling and understanding.

Surprised by the rapid depth
The participants and we were then surprised how you can meet at such an essential level in such a short time. Norbert with his knowledge, experience, engagement and vulnerability creates a familiar and safe environment where there is room for a deep encounter with yourself and the group. Because he has a long history in our profession, he also knows how to make a delicious translation to our field. A number of participants returned this:

A follow-up soon
The participants indicated in the feedback that there was a need for more sessions like this. We too feel that this fits perfectly with our mission where we like to work with inspired people – candidates and clients – who have a positive impact on people and society. New knowledge sessions are planned with Norbert in the coming months and we are looking into organizing longer and more in-depth sessions as well.
