Frans Go, founder of Go-Tan
Frans Go, founder of Go-Tan, was always into entrepreneurship and tasty oriental snacks. He started the company from his garage. His mother, sisters and brothers helped out. The first larger products he made to sell were Shanghai nuts, sambals and booms.
“My father was the โinventorโ of the peanut,” laughs Han Go, son of the founder. “The production process he devised is still used by factories today.”
Han Go runs the Kesteren-based company together with his older brother. While the eldest brother is involved in the company as a shareholder and commissioner, he lives and works in Singapore. Han and Bing Go together are “the creative brain” behind the organization, Han is ultimately responsible for marketing and product development.
