the Volksbank
The Volksbank is an independent, purely Dutch bank holding company with four distinctive banks that are close to the customer. All human, social, sustainable.

We are a bank focused on the Dutch market, offering simple and transparent mortgage, savings and payment products for individuals. The Volksbank also offers insurance, investment and lending through its brands. Volksbank also serves smaller businesses in a retail way.

History of commitment
The Volksbank brands all have a history of social commitment. SNS originated as an alliance of savings banks. The first were established in 1817 to enable poor people to build up a small financial reserve. ASN Bank and RegioBank were union institutions. BLG Wonen was founded to help miners get their own homes.
