History of Profile
The history of Profile goes back to August 10, 1989. At that time three entrepreneurs, Jaap Kossen, Martin van Wijk and Will Stoof founded a sales-oriented organization for tire service companies. The internationally oriented organization started under the name “Profile Tyrecenter,” with a cooperative company form of business. René van Maasakkers, still closely involved with Profile Tyrecenter, was responsible for the business plan. This plan included a commercial cooperation concept, which very quickly proved to be successful. After all, the power of independent entrepreneurship was combined with the economies of scale of a large organization.
