Henry wrote the book ´Marketing met Ballen´ to wake up the modern marketer and inspire him to get the most out of himself and his organization. Not for nothing was the book nominated for the PIM Marketing Literature Award and Steven van Belleghem finds it “An ideal source of inspiration for the modern marketer”.
During this evening Henry will take you through the theory of the book illustrated by real-life examples. He explains what it takes for success for yourself and for your organization. Using the OMR mindset, Discover – Manage – Respect, he describes the nine behavioral characteristics that will help you stand out regardless of the content and position of your marketing role in your organization.
Henry wants to emphasize that he is looking forward to a very interactive evening and would rather engage in conversation with everyone than just talk about his theory. So it promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening.
The speaker
Prof. Henry Robben (1960) was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and grew up in the south of the Netherlands. He has been a professor of marketing at Nyenrode Business University since 1997. As a visiting professor he regularly visits universities at home and abroad. He is able to inspire and build and he regularly acts as keynote speaker and as advisor to companies. His interests include strategic marketing, innovation management and strategic decision-making processes. Publications have appeared in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the International Journal of Research in Marketing and R&D Management, among others. He has also coauthored several management books. In his spare time, he reads everything that comes in front of his nose, plays games, likes to bike and enjoys the noble game of soccer, including Orange. Novice but enthusiastic lover of the good things in life, omnivore rather than connoisseur.
