Input for Picnic

On Nov. 14, 120 marketers gave input to challenger Picnic on a topical issue. Ruben Vermijs, Digital Marketing Leader of Picnic first gave an insight into the experiences during its first year of existence.

In one year from 4 electric, self-developed delivery trucks to 80, from 1 city to 6 cities. And many customer insights further. Because the latter is the common thread in the story; every step is based on customer feedback. Whether it is about the assortment, the question of where to take the groceries (rather to the door than to the kitchen counter) or being able to see up to the minute when the groceries will be delivered.

After the break, Picnic shared an issue with the audience. Some 120 clever marketing heads bent over this, which then led to many, often surprising ideas. Michiel Muller, one of Picnic’s founders, was also curious and stayed on for a while. Thus, the evening had a special added value for Picnic as well.
